In February 2026, Navarino colleagues from across the globe came together in Athens for our annual company gathering, held at the Eugenides Foundation. Each year, the event is an important opportunity to reflect on the year behind us, reconnect as a global team, and align on the priorities that will define the coming months.
Reflecting on 2025, Preparing for What’s Next
Throughout the day, Navarino’s leadership team shared key milestones from the past year, addressed challenges faced across our markets, and outlined the strategic direction guiding the company into its next phase of growth.
Discussions focused not only on performance, but on long-term positioning and growth, ensuring that Navarino continues to strengthen its role as a trusted partner to the maritime industry while expanding its capabilities and global footprint.
Strengthening Strategic Partnerships
We were pleased to welcome Stelios Elia, Managing Director, European Corporate at ICG, who addressed the team and spoke about their new investment partnership in Navarino. His highlighted the shared ambition underpinning this collaboration and reinforced the long-term vision supporting our continued development.
We also heard from Mark Olthuis of Castor Marine, who reflected on the merger integration progress and the opportunities ahead as we continue building a stronger, more comprehensive offering together under the umbrella of the Navarino Group.
In addition, AI specialists joined us to share practical insights into Artificial Intelligence and its growing relevance across the maritime sector. Their sessions explored how emerging technologies can enhance efficiency, decision-making, and service delivery as well as looking at some of the potential risks posed by this new technology.
Another highlight was an update on our Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives, including our ‘Connecting Greece with the Future’ scheme. This initiative continues to expand Starlink connectivity to remote regions across Greece, helping bridge digital gaps and enable new opportunities for local communities.
Celebrating Long-Term Commitment
The gathering also provided a proud moment as we recognized colleagues celebrating 10, 20, and 25 years with Navarino. Their dedication, expertise and loyalty are a powerful reminder that our long-term success is built on the strength of our people and it was a pleasure to see them so loudly applauded on stage as they received their certificates of recognition.
Our annual gathering remains a cornerstone of Navarino’s culture and traditions. It gives us all a day to reconnect, refocus and reaffirm our shared direction.
