In late April, Navarino’s CSR team collaborated with local educators to organize an environmental excursion for 50 students from the 1st Elementary School of Konitsa. The students were transported via a dedicated bus to the banks of the Aoös River in northwestern Greece.
Throughout the day, the children participated in a riverbank cleanup, collecting general waste and plastic debris from the area. This effort not only helped preserve a fragile ecosystem, home to several rare species of fish and wildlife, but also instilled in the students a deeper sense of environmental responsibility. Navarino is proud to support initiatives that inspire young people to protect the natural world around them.
