In the evolving landscape of maritime technology, Navarino’s Partner event on the 14th of December at the SNFCC was a showcase for the latest advancements in satellite communications. The exclusive gathering brought together some of the biggest names in maritime technology and key players from the Greek shipping industry to showcase the forefront of innovation. With over 100 ship operators in attendance representing more than 1,000 vessels, it was one of the largest gatherings of the maritime community in years.
In addition, distinguished speakers including Starlink, Inmarsat, Intelsat, Eutelsat-Oneweb, Cobham, and Intellian, were present to discuss and demonstrate the transformative impact of their technologies on ship operations. With these industry giants in attendance, the event provided a unique platform for insights into the future of maritime connectivity and showed how the vessel of tomorrow will need a hybrid approach to connectivity, using multiple platforms to ensure that the demanding requirements of the maritime environment are met.
Besides being a knowledge-sharing platform, participants were also offered an interactive glimpse into the future of maritime connectivity, with questions and discussions on emerging technologies, trends, and collaborations that could shape the industry’s trajectory.
