Navarino’s AED Donation to Piraeus Municipal Theatre

The Piraeus Municipal Theatre, renowned for its cultural significance and historical charm, serves as a hub for artistic expression and entertainment in the heart of Piraeus. However, like any public venue, it is not immune to medical emergencies, including sudden cardiac arrests, which can occur without warning.

This is why Navarino has donated an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) to the theatre, as well as organizing training for the theatre staff in how to use it. This invaluable contribution promises to enhance the safety and well-being of theatergoers, performers, and staff alike, reaffirming Navarino’s commitment to community welfare.

An AED is a portable device that delivers an electric shock to the heart to help restore normal rhythm in the event of cardiac arrest. Time is of the essence during such critical moments, and having immediate access to an AED significantly increases the chances of survival.

Navarino’s CSR Manager, Tassos Barbas, said ‘We are proud to be able to contribute to the safety and well-being of our local Piraeus community through this donation. As an organisation, Navarino believes that investing in initiatives that enhance public safety is not only a moral imperative but also a cornerstone of considerate business practices.
