Navarino is excited to announce its sponsorship of talented veteran Greek rally driver Harry Manousaridis, aka HarryMan, for the highly anticipated Historic Acropolis Rally. The event, often referred to as the “Rally of the Gods,” is part of the FIA World Rally Championship (WRC) and attracts top drivers and teams from around the globe. This year’s event is running from 8 – 10 November and is expected to be a highly competitive race, with Manousaridis entering the event with a team committed to making an impact.
HarryMan, who will be joined by co-driver John Tzoyias, has gained widespread recognition for his driving prowess and fearless approach to tackling difficult rally courses, making him a standout competitor in this year’s Rally. He will be driving across the special gravel stages, including Caroutes, Parnasos and Drosohori in a Ford Escort Mk2 boasting 160 Horse Power, a car which has pedigree in the WRC as it’s predecessor sister model won the championship in 1977, 79, 80 and 81, with renowned drivers including Waldegaard, Mikkola and Vatanen.
