In October members of our Product and Technology Departments were invited by Intelsat to attend their inaugural Partner Symposium in Marbella. The event provided an overview of the new capabilities planned for the Flex network over the next 12-18 months, as well as a platform to hear plans for Intelsat’s software defined ultra-high throughput satellites and how these satellites will bring more flexibility, higher speed connectivity and better economics. Besides these topics, Intelsat also presented us with an award for ‘Most Customer Migrations Year on Year’ in recognition of our growing number of Ku band vessels that use Intelsat’s satellite network.
Our Head of Product, Nicholas Papanikolaou, said ‘We are very proud to receive this award which is a result of a very strong partnerships with Intelsat. Their Ku band services allow our customers to enjoy reliable, high speed connectivity onboard their vessels and makes Navarino’s Ku band portfolio one of the strongest on the market.
