Supporting Greek Communities in the UK – Coventry Sporting Donation

Following our donation of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) to the Greek Embassy in London last year, Navarino UK engaged in discussions with Embassy officials on how best to support the growing Greek diaspora in the United Kingdom.

As a first step in this direction for 2025, our CSR team chose to support the vibrant Greek community in Coventry, which consists of over 300 families. In May, Navarino representatives visited the local Greek Orthodox Church and School in Coventry, where they met with members of the community and toured the facilities used by children who attend twice a week.

After discussions with local leaders, Navarino sponsored the purchase of two football goalposts, one basketball hoop, 15 sports balls, and sportswear for the children. The equipment is intended to strengthen community bonds, promote physical activity, and nurture the spirit of togetherness among Greek families living abroad.
