Navarino was pleased to serve as Bronze Sponsor of Care for Children’s Southern Africa Family Placement Conference, held in Livingstone, Zambia from 6 to 8 May 2026. Care for Children is an international non-profit organisation dedicated to ensuring that vulnerable children grow up in safe, loving family environments rather than institutional care.
The conference brought together government officials, child welfare experts, and practitioners from across Southern Africa under the theme “Empowering Governments to Reform Child Welfare.” It served as the official launch platform for Care for Children’s Fostering My Family programme, an initiative designed to drive the transition from institutional to family-based care across African nations by working directly with governments to reform child welfare policy and practice.
We are glad to have played a small part in supporting this important cause and wish Care for Children continued success in their work across the continent.
