Introducing Ozora – Palo Alto and Navarino’s joint new cyber security solution.
Navarino is proud to launch Ozora – its new, fully managed cybersecurity service, designed for maritime in conjunction with Palo Alto.
This new addition to Navarino’s portfolio combines Palo Alto Networks’ NGFW, SentinelOne EDR, and our SOC partner’s 24/7 coverage into one correlated, maritime-grade protection layer. What’s more, Ozora can be offered either as a Virtual Machine within Infinity, or as a hardware-based solution using a Palo Alto platform, depending on vessel architecture and requirements.
Modern maritime cyber threats – including lateral movement and living-off-the-land attacks – are designed to evade tools that monitor network or endpoint activity in isolation. Ozora addresses this directly: telemetry from Palo Alto Networks’ next-generation firewall and SentinelOne EDR is routed to a single Security Operations Centre, operated 24/7. The result is a unified per-vessel threat timeline that identifies attacks that siloed tools miss.
Furthermore, as an official Palo Alto Networks MSSP, Navarino manages the full technology stack – vessel operators require no in-house Palo Alto expertise.
Ozora is designed to support compliance with IACS Unified Requirements E26 and E27, which are binding for vessels contracted after July 1, 2024. In addition, classification society audits increasingly require demonstrable cybersecurity controls at both network and endpoint layers – Ozora delivers both, under a single managed service.
Navarino CTO, Alex Giouzenis said ‘In our experience working with thousands of vessels around the globe, thanks to the recent wave of digitalisation that high-bandwidth, low latency LEO services have enabled, the threat landscape at sea has changed. The response has to match. That is why we have developed Ozora to provide one of the most advanced, made-for-maritime cyber security platforms available.’
