Basketball has long been a sport closely associated with Navarino and the Company’s CSR Department. For this reason, when one of Greece’s oldest basketball clubs, Foinikas Piraeus (established in 1949), approached us in September with a request to sponsor the team’s apparel for the current season, comprising 50 sets of jerseys and shorts, we were pleased to offer our support.
Navarino firmly believes that the participation of young people in amateur team sports plays a vital role in character development, fostering values such as discipline, teamwork, and resilience. Supporting youth engagement in sport therefore remains a core pillar of Navarino’s Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives.
