Navarino is proud to have supported the 6th annual Hope Street Ball 3×3, a unique basketball event for wheelchair athletes organized by the Hellenic Wheelchair Basketball Federation (OSEKA). The event took place on Saturday, October 25th, at Syntagma Square in the heart of Athens, celebrating inclusivity and the power of sportsmanship.
For the sixth consecutive year, OSEKA transformed the city’s most central square into an open basketball court, hosting a mini championship of wheelchair basketball that brought together athletes, volunteers, and spectators in an inspiring atmosphere of unity and optimism. From 10 in the morning until 4 in the afternoon, passers-by and visitors had the opportunity to witness the incredible skills, teamwork, and determination of the participating athletes, and to experience up close the spirit of fair play and accessibility in sports.
‘At Navarino, we believe that true progress comes when everyone has the opportunity to participate and excel,’ said Tassos Barbas, CSR Manager at Navarino. ‘We are honoured to stand beside OSEKA in their mission to promote equality and inclusion through sport, and we deeply admire the athletes who inspire us all with their perseverance and passion.’
